Jody Harris

Jody Harris likes hands on projects. He fondly recalls installing a drip system for his grandfather. His background in construction and a contractor’s license also gave him the know-how to wrangle the farm’s electrical systems, and he installed all of the solar panels himself. He loves to work the old family tractor because it reminds him of sitting on his grandfather’s lap as a child. In his free time, he’s an avid brew master and sailor, winning many regattas in the San Francisco Bay where his great-grandfather, Tom Crowley, began his career as a Whitehall boatman tending the clipper ships in the 1890s. Jody is a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and he’s acquiring his captain’s license for his Protector 28, 'Farallon'. Jody is passionate about composting and organic farming. And when the demands of the farm allow it, he also works as a licensed commercial real estate agent.

Gingy Harris Gable

Gingy Harris Gable was married to John Gable with a reception at Harris Ranch in the spring of 2005, making one of her childhood dreams come true. They have a two year old son Bo who loves to sit on the tractor. Gingy is an avid cook who has studied extensively in Europe, experimenting with new ways to incorporate their olive oil and honey into her recipes, and pairing them with the abundant fruits, heirloom vegetables, and herbs grown on the farm. Her academic pursuits were in the art world, but her passion has led her back to HRNV. She runs an interior design firm in San Francisco, and her award-winning production design for the labels has garnered her international recognition. Gingy also lends her marketing skills and business savvy to their website, brand, and voice.

Additional people that are instrumental to our everyday operations at the farm:

In 1999, Luis joined our team as our conscientious, bright, and hardworking Foreman. He recruited his brothers Octavio and George and later Rocio. We are constantly impressed with our team of workers. They are reliable, responsible and have built fences, planted olive trees and grapevines to protecting the grapes from the wild turkeys.
