Goat Cheese Toasts with Rosemary, Walnuts and Wildflower Honey

Warm Goat Cheese Toasts with Rosemary, Walnuts and Wildflower Honey

1 long sweet baguette
8 ounces of goat cheese
1/4 cup of chopped toasted walnuts
1/2 tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary
honey to drizzle over it

makes 18 or so

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Toast the walnuts -10 minutes or so, I can tell by the smell that it is time to check them, turn over if needed. Cut the baguette on the diagonal. Spread the goat cheese on each slice. Arrange single layer on rimmed baking sheet. Bake until cheese softens edges are slightly brown 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with rosemary, heat honey and drizzle over them, then scatter the walnuts over them as well. Walnuts should stick on to the honey. Serve!

I made 3 trays at a time and staggered when I baked them so I could keep bringing out warm ones. This was a big hit at our Shopping Party 2009!
